Over the first weekend in November, we had a Youth overnight trip for the Gateway Church. We stayed at Dunton Red House (a former schoolhouse) and had an awesome weekend filled with laughs, lots of food, games, and s’mores!
All of the kids really enjoyed themselves and bonded over hide and go seek and campfires. We learned a bit about prayer and what it means to pray.
The rain came on the Friday night so we made s’mores and hot chocolate inside and watched Christmas films…the kids were really keen! Thankfully with better weather the next day came scavenger hunts and more s’mores outside at the campfire. We’re hoping to do another weekend away next year
