2014 was a rollercoaster ride at The Gateway Church – we moved our Sunday gatherings to a fantastic new venue at King’s Lynn Academy and saw attendance grow from 61 to 100, 2 people become Christians and we got to baptise 4 people. All fantastic!

So here are our goals for 2015…

2015 goals

1) 150 on Sundays

I’d love to see us gathering 150 people regularly to worship our amazing great God, encourage and minister to one another.

2) 20 New Disciples

The best kind of growth is new growth, so I’m trusting God for 20 new disciples this year. We’ll be running a cycle of great socials, guest Sundays, the Start Course and follow up throughout the year. There is still time to sign up for the first Start Course of 2015 if you’d like to know what Christianity is really all about! Contact David Blacklock on 01553 819822 to book!

3) 10 Small groups

As we grow bigger, small groups get more and more important as the place where we know and are known each other and encourage one another to faith and exploits in Christ. We currently have 6 small groups – we’ll need 10 to accomodate 150 on Sundays!

4) 52 Stories

If we are going to see 20 new disciples and Sunday growth to 150, that will be because we have do acts of courage to walk across the room, out of our comfort zone, to share the love of God, the Gospel, prophecy over a not yet believer, heal the sick and even raise the dead! Each Sunday we want stories, at least one a week, of acts of courage, successes and had a go’s

5) 25 Praying

Undergirding it all will be at least 25 of us committing to pray for 3 friends and a nation daily or at least weekly. Who will you be praying for? Do sign up for three friends and get encouraging emails to help you!

Please get involved by doing an act of courage this week and praying for three friends and a nation!
