Trees of hope

Churches Together are organising a tree planting initiative to help combat climate change.

I know there is so much that could be done, but this is a start. I did some quick maths My car emits 106g/km which works out at roughly 3000 miles per 500kg, the average amount of carbon a tree soaks up in its lifetime. I do around 12,000 miles a year, so I need to sponsor at least 4 trees a year to help offset my car carbon emissions.
