Prayer for today

Lord, Paul gives thanks for those in the Church who turned from idols to serve You, the true and living God. This is exactly what ___________ needs to do. Though they would likely not admit they are serving idols, that's exactly what’s happening. Money. Power. Possessions. Fame. Anything other than You! Cause ___________ to see these things for what they are frail and flimsy sources of hope and ultimately not worthy of worship. I pray for a time when I will be able to look back on ___________'sAmen.
