In Europe, there are an estimated 250,000 cities, towns and villages without an evangelical witness. Our family of churches, Relational Mission, are looking to plant 20 churches in each of the 50 mainland Europe nations by 2050.
It’s been tough for many of the church plants we already have this season. The pandemic has hit hard and it can be easy for pioneers to feel isolated. In New Testament times, the Apostle Paul and others visited plants regularly to strengthen them and to appoint local elders when they were ready. He wrote of his desire to visit Rome – “I long to see you that I may impart some spiritual gift to strengthen you.” (Romans 1:11). Andy’s role is two-fold – supporting and visiting pioneers and helping to organize training conferences.
Andy is currently working with church plants in the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany and will be visiting them during 2022. Over the years I have learnt that visiting pioneers is priceless for helping them establish strong new churches – which is why much of the New Testament recounts Paul’s trips to visit and strengthen local church plants.
In 2022, he will be involved in two conferences – the European Leadership Forum in May and helping organize a European church planting conference in Malaga in October, which will be bringing all of our pioneers across Europe together for teaching, fellowship and ministry.

Why not come on a trip and see what the Lord is doing?
