Building

The Gateway Church is going for a building. In 2004 we had a significant prophecy that we were to be a permanent presence in two senses. A more permanent presence of the Holy Spirit in greater measure and the permanent presence in town of our own building.

We have a building task team who are guiding the process. Here is them sharing the vision…

We have a building fund. Over many years to 2024 it had grown to £12,000. Maurice Nightingale challenged that we need to put a nought on that to be serious!

In early 2025 we had our first building gift day and the fund now stands at £28,249.

Our June 2025 building offering gift days raised and amazing £20999.

Prophetic Input so far

The Lord has been speaking to us in recent years about getting our own building “a permanent presence” for ministry. Here are the prophetic words we have received…

Grantley Watkins  – interim building

Dream – Him and acoustic engineer visiting. Old building repurposed, courtyard and meeting space. Then walked through more space for 400, ramshackle not finished article. Friend there for acoustic purposes. Chairs already out, so we were doing up as we went.

Encouragement to pray into building.

Rod Sexton. Building. God not doing a carbon copy. Will be different

David Taylor. Parchment that needs gloves to handle. Time to take gloves off ready for battle.

Christine Merry – Dream – Sum of £151,000. Woke up wow got a building! With a red front

Marshall Shaitel – permanent presence in two ways – a permanent presence of the Spirit in what we are doing and a permanent presence in terms of a building –  big

Got the word Aldi

Think this is about the building, Lorries coming into a warehouse unopened produce that needs sorting and packaging. Fresh repacked from conveyor belts, going out better. Something about conveyor belts maybe something about the building. Round window at the end! Moving you to be able to repackage people who have been hurting. Something about conveyor belts that is significant for your building, a warehouse, where things have been sorted and packaged with conveyor belts, elevators to move.
