One another
There are 57 “one another verses” in the New Testament – they are different ways we can be family together. Please do marinate on them and put them into practice in your life group and the wider church fellowship!
Love one another
John 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
1 Thessalonians 4:9 “But concerning love of the brethren, you have no need to have any one write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another…”
1 John 3:11 “For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another…” 1 John 3:23 “And this is His commandment, that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He has commanded us.”
1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God.”
1 John 4:11 “Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
1 John 4:12 “No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us.”
2 John 1:5 “And now I beg you, lady, not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.”
Abound in love to one another
1 Thessalonians 3:12 “May the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all men, as we do to you.”
Love one another earnestly from the heart
1 Peter 1:22 “Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brethren, love one another earnestly from the heart.”
Hold unfailing your love for one another
1 Peter 4:8 “Above all hold unfailing your love for one another, since love covers a multitude of sins.”
Be at peace with one another
Mark 9:50 “…have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
Outdo one another in showing honour
Romans 12:10 “Love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honour.”
Live in harmony with one another
Romans 12:16 “Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, never be conceited.”
Romans 15:5 “May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together with one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Don't pass judgment on one another
Romans 14:13 “Let us no more pass judgment on one another, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.”
Welcome one another
Romans 15:7 “Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Care for one another
1 Corinthians 12:25 “…that there may be no discord in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.”
Agree with one another
2 Corinthians 13:11 “Finally, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways, heed my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.”
Serve one another
Galatians 5:13 “For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants of one another.”
Forbear with one another
Ephesians 4:2 “…with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love…”
Forgive one another
Colossians 3:13 “…forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
Be kind to one another
Ephesians 4:32 “…and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Be subject to one another
Ephesians 5:21 “Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.”
Comfort one another
1 Thessalonians 4:18 “Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
Encourage one another and build one another up
1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
Do good to one another
1 Thessalonians 5:15 “See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all.”
Stir up one another to love and good works
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another…”
Don't speak evil against one another
James 4:11 “Do not speak evil against one another, brethren…”
Confess your sins to one another
James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.”
Practice hospitality ungrudgingly to one another
1 Peter 4:9 “Practice hospitality ungrudgingly to one another.”
Employ the gifts God has given you to serve one another
1 Peter 4:10 “As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.”
Clothe yourselves with humility towards one another
1 Peter 5:5 “Likewise you that are younger be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility towards one another, for God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Instruct one another
Romans 15:14 “I myself am satisfied about you, my brethren, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.”
Greet one another with a holy kiss
Romans 16:16 “Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.”
1 Corinthians 16:20 “All the brethren send greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.”
2 Corinthians 13:12 “Greet one another with a holy kiss.” Greet one another with the kiss of love

Don't lie to one another
Colossians 3:9 “Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have pit off the old nature with its practices, and have put on the new nature…”
Teach and admonish one another
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
Exhort one another
Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called ‘today', that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.”
Don't provoke or envy one another
