Picnic in the park

Gaywood Community Centre is not available to us this Sunday (1st August 2021), so we will be gathering together for a picnic in the Walks park in King’s Lynn at noon. It will be a great chance to meet up, and enjoy one another’s company in the lovely town park.

We will be to the left of the playground by the path which offers shade and sun! Do bring your own picnic, with perhaps some items to share! There are great facilities in the park – public toilets, a basic cafe selling drinks and ice creams and a large playground for the children. Just off the park is a Spar (with Costa Express and Subway in it) and a chip shop.

The nearest car park is at the Walks Stadium, Tennyson Road, PE30 5PA which allows 3 hours free parking (you must get a ticket though). Plenty of buses pass near the Walks too – 2134353637394049A!

The weather forecast is currently showing dry, light cloud and breeze and a temp of 17oC
