Prayer for today
Father, I know what it is like to live enslaved to sin. The inability to stop. The crushing guilt and shame.The longing for something more. It breaks my heart to consider ___________ experiences life apart from You. I know all people are enslaved to sin and live in willing defiance to Your good and perfect Word. Help ___________ understand that they are actually enslaved to sin. Use the pain and consequences of sin to cause to sense a need for something more. Cause them to obey from the heart and submit to You as a far greater Master.
