There’s nothing more important than prayer in the Christian life – after all we are in a relationship with the Father through Jesus. Relationships are about communication – talking and listening.
Lancelot Andrewes (1555-1626) wrote down a list of times when people prayed in the Bible:

Always…
Without ceasing…
At all times…
Three times a day…
Evening, morning and at noon…
Seven times a day…
In the morning, a great while before the day…
At daybreak…
The third hour of the day…
About the sixth hour…
The hour of prayer, the ninth…
The evening…
By night…
At midnight…

Then where they prayed:

In the assembly…
In the congregation…
Your clost…
An upper room…
A housetop…
The temple…
The shore…
A garden…
On their beds…
A desert place…
In every place…

So there is no limit to when and where we can pray.

We have our main prayer meeting on the first Sunday of every month 7-9pm in 99c High Street – do join us to worship, encounter God and interceed.
But we don’t just want to be a church with a prayer meeting, we want to be a praying church. We also pray before our main Sunday meeting 9:30-9:45 by the coffee area and as part of just about everything we do.

In my own personal times of prayer – I have found the Prayer Mate app very helpful. It’s like a set of index cards to keep track of what you are praying for!
PrayerMate is available free on iOS and Android
