What a wonderful day yesterday. If you saw me walk in, you’ll have seen my complete surprise at just how many people had to come to church and to celebrate my 50th. It was a complete surprise, masterfully achieved!

Thank you so much to everyone who was involved in organising and putting it on, turning up early to set up, be in the amazing band, welcome on the door, be involved in the service itself, serve food and clear up afterwards as well as make that amazing book and give so generously. I’m utterly bowled over and overwehelmed by the love. Thank you so much. There was an unbelievable amount of work that went on behind the scenes – Jan and I are so grateful!
